New Zealand House and Garden Images

Here are some of our flowers that have featured over the past few months in New Zealand House and Garden Magazine.

Gloriosa Lilies grow naturally just like this, a fabulous climber with spectacular flowers

My favourite - I just love the fragility of these wax vases, beautiful with a little LED candle in them. I want to just full the shop - we are making them in all shapes and colors - delicious earth tones

Doily Vases

A friend of mine gave me these great starched Doilies and we had a little play and this is what we cam up with, wouldn't they be great for a wedding as the table centers, or even just sitting in the middle of the dinning table, we love them and hope you do too.

Test tube Vase

One of the things we like to do at Vida Flores is make our own vases. We like original and we love hand crafted. Here we have made test tube vases with aluminum wire. I love the simplicity and the way they don't distract from the flowers, mostly they are fun and make us smile!

May wedding at the Museum

This wedding we created the flowers for in May at the Auckland Museum. It was all about Dimonds, Sparkle and glamorous white flowers. A fantastic time was had by all and a pleasure for us to do.

String Garden

Our Japanese inspired string garden recently exhibited at the opening of our clients new reception space.

The Phalaenopsis plants, Calathea plants and fabulous ferns were coated in moss and grass seed which would grow over time.

Hot Pink orchids hung delicately between the hanging plants in little plastic test tubes.

Wedding flowers

This wedding was a fun little treat for us this summer. At first when asked to do bouquets with Gypsophila we were a bit cautious, but the result we love. Snowy white Hydrangeas with a cuff of Gypsophila and finished off on the handle with a diamante buckle. Cute!
